Something I had learned around this time last year is that you need a regulated life on the unregulated path of an artist. In not knowing where the next job may be coming from, dealing with swift changes etc. It’s imperative that you have the stability, the mindless pleasurable things in place so that when in the potential instability it can be sustained healthily. I loved learning that and cultivating that. It has truly changed my life and in reading this I was reminded of that. Thank you. How the practice of this going so far for you?

Finding the balance of financial stability and creativity is indeed tricky! I've had to work part time jobs for extra income while I freelance and do what I actually find fulfilling. Thank you for the acknowledgement that most people need extra support.

Cheers to you for making it happen!

I agree! And, I feel like my creativity needs lots of time to potter around and do nothing to come to full fruition, which rarely happens in my life filled with a financially stable job and all of life’s other obligations. The catch 22 of a creative..

I don’t know much about I Ching, elaborate!

Its just another system of chance, like tarot, that people use for guidance. I dont know much about it either, but I did buy a set and threw the coins a couple of times.

We use Human Design a lot which is comprised of I Ching (Chinese book of changes — the hexagrams are the gates), astrology, Kabbalah and the chakra system :)
